Vibelume
Turn a photo of a real surface into a PBR material at its real size, ready for Blender and Unreal Engine 5.
Take a photo of a marble slab, a wood veneer or a painted wall, and Vibelume makes the maps a renderer needs: colour, normal, roughness, displacement and the rest. Each one is scaled so a 60 cm tile is 60 cm in your scene. It runs entirely in your browser, and your photos never leave your computer.
How it works
- Begin. Add your photo, choose what it's for and which programs you use.
- Prepare. Pick how sharp it should be, set its real size, and make it repeat without seams.
- Craft. Shape the surface for the material: relief, veins or grain, how glossy it is, and wear and imperfections.
- Export. Download the maps at their real size in one ZIP, with a how-to sheet for each program. Optionally, the full package adds a material file, a Blender install script and a test scene.
Materials
Marble and stone, wood (veneer, floors and wall panels) and wall paint. Fabric and wall art are planned for later versions.
What you need
- A desktop browser with WebGL 2, such as a recent Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
- A graphics card helps: the AI steps and the realistic light run on it, and fall back to the processor when there isn't one.
- An internet connection the first time, to download the AI models. Your browser keeps them after that.
Free to use
Vibelume is free. If it saves you time, you can support it on Ko-fi. Questions, problems or ideas: support@vibelume.net.
